以下是提升雅思写作分数的方法总结，从语法入手解析，详见下面具体:

　　一、从评分标准，看语法结构

　　雅思写作中的第二、第四项评分标准，都对句子方面做了要求。它们分别是coherence and cohesion，grammatical range and accuracy，简称为cc和gra。笔者认为主要包含有以下几个方面：一是句子语法结构是否正确，即考生在写作中会写出符合英语句法规则的句子；二是在满足不同的表达需求前提下，可以做到句子结构的多样性（如能够做到长短句结合、主动语态被动语态的交替，虚拟语气的使用、强调句型的使用、倒桩句型的使用、状语前置、插入语的使用），从而使文章读起来重点突出、语言顺畅、节奏清晰；最后一个也是考生最难达到的——前后句子之间的衔接顺畅。

　　二、从学生文章，看语法问题

　　（一）主谓一致

　　主谓一致指“人称”和“数”方面的一致关系。主谓之间的一致关系由三个原则来支配：语法一致原则 （grammatical concord） 意义一致原则 （notional concord） 就近原则 （principle of proximity）。“主谓一致”所包含的内容广泛，主要包括：名词单数或复数作主语、不可数名词作主语、不定代词作主语、并列结构作主语、特殊名词作主语时与谓语动词数的一致等。笔者在批改学生作文的过程中，主要汇总了如下一些问题，并摘抄了部分例子，以作明确解释。

　　1. information on the website are in a great variety.

　　改正：are——is

　　解析：information是不可数名词，作主语时，动词只能用作单数。与之类似的词汇还有：work, equipment, news, advice, luggage等。“许多信息”可以译为“a great deal/amount of information”。

　　译文：网站上的信息多种多样。

　　2. on the other hand, there are much money which should be invested in facilities of universities.

　　改正：are——is

　　解析：money是不可数名词，按照there be句型中的临近一致的原则，动词应为单数。“许多钱”可以译为“a great deal/sum/amount of money”。

　　译文：另一方面，大学设备设备方面需要投入大量的钱。

　　3. as a result, the rate of getting the bachelor's degree are soaring in recent years.

　　改正：are——is

　　解析：rate是单数名词，作主语时，动词用作单数。

　　译文：结果，近年来，获得学士学位的比例大幅攀升。

　　4. the salaries needed for renting in this area is from ? 98,500 per year to ? 194,000 per year

　　改正：is——are

　　解析：句子的主语是salaries，主语之后的needed in this area是一个过去分词短语the salaries的后置定语，动词的单复数不受主语修饰语的影响。此类修饰性结构还有：with…； along with…； together with…； including…等。

　　译文：在该地区租赁房子所需年薪从98,500美元到194,000不等。

　　5. i got to know rose in 2008, when she and i was working in a company.

　　改正：was——were

　　解析：当主语是由and连接的不同人或者不同事物时，谓语用复数形式。

　　译文：我2008年解释了rose，那时我俩在一个公司上班。

　　（二）限定词与名词的不一致

　　限定词是在名词词组中对名词中心词起特指、类指以及表示确定数量和非确定数量等限定作用的词类。如：this is a tricky problem to resolve. 其中a即是problem的限定词汇。限定词通常用来限定所指如this，that，these，those或者限定数量如some，all，any，every，each，both，neither，either。

　　限定词主要包括：冠词（定冠词a phenomenon; 不定冠词the; 零冠词）；形容词性的物主代词限定词（my, your, his, her, our, your, their, its）；名词属格（local residents' standard of living）；指示限定词（this, that, these, those, such）关系限定词（whose, which）；疑问限定词（what, which, whose），。

　　不定限定词（no, some, any, each, every, enough, either, neither, all, both, half, several, many, much, （a） few, （a） little, other, another）；数词（基数词、序数词、倍数词、分数词）；量词（a lot of, lots of, plenty of, a great of, a good deal of, a large of, a small amount of, a quantity of, a great of, a good number of等）。

　　以下是学员在写作中最具有代表性的错误：

　　1. this may result in a serious social problems and our education will get worse and worse.

　　改正：a serious social problems——serious social problems；或者改成a serious social problem

　　解析：problem是可数名词，如果有a限定，应该用单数；如果没有a限定，应该用复数形式。

　　译文：这会导致严重的社会问题，且教育也会每况愈下。

　　2. for another, an argument is that the inappropriate education can influence the country's heading for prosperity.

　　改正：the inappropriate education——inappropriate education.

　　解析：此句中，education用来指所有“不恰当的教育”，没有特指的意义，the应该删除。

　　译文：另一方面，一个争议就是，不当的教育可能会影响国家走向繁荣昌盛。

　　3. in addition, the government can make economic reforms to college, which is that school pay students to do the community services around college.

　　改正：to college——to colleges；school——schools；the community services——community services；around college——around colleges

　　解析：college是可数名词，指所有大学，应该用作复数形式；school用来代指大学，也要用复数形式；the community services是泛指概念，不需要带the。

　　译文：此外，政府可以针对大学进行改革，即学校付钱给学生在学校附近进行社区服务。

　　4. by contrast, personally, i hold the perspective that the government should take the responsible of college education fees.

　　改正：the responsible——responsibility

　　解析：the responsible在take 后面做宾语，应该使用名词responsibility。

　　译文：相比之下，个人认为，政府应该承担大学教育费用。

　　5. to begin with, it is an obvious fact that there is amount of people in our country who cannot pay for their higher education fees.

　　改正：amount of people——a （great） number/quantity of people

　　解析：people是集合名词，表示“大量”时，可以使用a large/great number/quantity of…；而在表述不可数名词时，可以使用a great/large amount of, a great deal of…

　　译文：首先，我们国家许多人没有能力支付高等教育的费用，这个事实是显而易见的。

　　6. among other things, as it considers above, a highly-qualified education will lead to the reduction of the crime rates, which, to some extent, helps the government save the loss caused by the crimes.

　　改正：a high rate education——highly-qualified education；the crime rates——crime rates；the crimes——crimes

　　解析：“高水平的教育”，表述的泛指意义，不应该加the；后面两个短语也是如此。

　　译文：其他方面，如上文所述，高质量的教育会减少犯罪率，这，在某种程度上避免了犯罪给政府带来的损失。

　　7. as we all know, there exist a certain amount of online games which are most violent games.

　　改正：a certain amount of online games——a certain number of online games
